Do you refer to your saving devices as thumb or flash drive?

Do you prefer to call your saving device thumb drive or flash drive? I am curious on everyone’s thoughts. Let me know in the comments.

  1. I call it a flash drive, Ambriance, out of habit from my workplace back when I used them there.

    1. Cool Mark! Can relate on the workplace. My co-workers use to call them thumb drives. I was clueless until they explained. LoL. It sticks with me to this day. We would have a fun debate on the name. Was curious if anyone else experienced this. Thanks for sharing. Have an amazing day.

      1. Thumb makes more sense regarding the shape, but it does help you store and share stuff quickly, or in a flash, as we used to say. So there you got me thinking of this way too much, Ambriance! Have a great day your own self.

      2. Great analysis Mark! Believe it’s all marketing when it comes to term. We can save your documents on a tiny portable device in a matter of seconds. It is a great conversational piece for the office. Nothing wrong with thinking, it gets the creative juices going. Take care!
