If you are like me, you love a deal. Now, when I am spinning the wheels looking for either decor (I am home decor junkie) or new threads, I always have my thinking cap on. Where can I find the best bargains. In a time of instability, you have to be smart. You have to pinch your pennies. I am all about building my savings. Preparation for the future is key. I never want to be in a financial crunch. Well, enough of the yapping and now on to good stuff… the bargains!

Yes, Wal-Mart. You can always score some good deals there. If you read my other article, I talk about prices. Yes, Wal-Mart is all about a bargain. You would be surprised on their prices of clothes. Their prices can rival Macy’s or Nordstrom’s bargain rack. On the opposite spectrum, their prices can also be your best friend.

As I was perusing Wal-Mart this morning, I saw some nice finds on clearance! Perhaps it’s because 4th of July is coming up. You will probably score deals on your favorite bbq essentials. In the event, as I was passing by the clothing sections I saw my favorite sign. A dollar. Yes, you can get t-shirts for just a $1.00 (depends on your area). I have racked on this deal before. Also, you can get some quarter sleeves t-shirts for $3.50. I didn’t make my way over to their regular clearance racks, but I am sure they have some good steals on them. I remember getting some clothes (I forgot the exact clothes) for $.50. Yes, 50 cents! You have to have patience and a good eye. Comb the rack and examine the clothes for any holes, missing buttons and tears. You would be amazed at what you can find.

Also, peruse the store and look for those large yellow tags. Yes, clearance. Check all the aisles for amazing deals. Their usually on the side (in the food aisles) and sometimes mix among products on the shelves. It depends on your area.

The one I was perusing had some sugar cookies for $3.50 and loaf cakes (value packs) on clearance.

There is nothing wrong with clearance items. You can check the expiration but it usually because the package is a little beat up. Also, the product is nearing expiration. Overstock can be another option. In the event, never be afraid of clearance rack. Especially around the holidays and primarily after. They are looking to get rid of holiday items (that didn’t sell) and make way for new stock.
