We are all recovering from post-Christmas! Whew! A great time to unwind and get ready for New Year’s festivities. If you’re a bargain hunter (like me) you will love Wal-Mart right now. They are having an amazing sale on holiday items. 50% off with many Christmas items 75% off!

It’s on! If you read my last blog post, Wal-Mart is a bump stop on the holiday shopping list. You can always depend on a bargain. Garland, ribbons, wrapping paper, you name it. Check them out.

Just a disclaimer, people are raiding the shelves. Depending on your location, you might see bare shelves. Don’t be discouraged, still peruse. You never know if you will see a gem. I did today. I found some nice white garland I have been eyeing for 2 months. I kept saying to myself, I will wait until they come down on the price. I saw 1 ended up with 3. With persistence, I snagged more than I bargain for. Came away happy. $1.33 a piece. Can’t beat.

Also, if you don’t care about particular of lights and have a super strict budget, you can get lights (100 pack) for $.88 cents. Yes, steady incandescent lights aren’t prime on my list (I love Led (multifunctioning/twinkling) over incandescent). Still, I won’t be mean and not share a good bargain. I still picked up a pack for when I want to give my Led lights a break. Although they don’t need them, still I can use these lights for non-important affairs.

Home Depot also has lights for $.88 cents. Also, some nice multifunction transitioning lights for $7.99. For 400 lights that multifunction from warm white to multicolor, you can’t beat! I love transitioning lights. Go from one color to another. You may notice the Christmas tree store displays litted with these lights but not on the shelves, it’s a bummer. To see the lights available, you can’t beat. The thing, they were out of stock in my area. Not a surprise, I am sure everyone was scooping up this bargain. Still, you can check in your area.
